We hope this newsletter finds you and your family safe, healthy, and in good spirits.

In the past few months, we have focused our attention re-imagining Midnight Circus so we can safely continue our important mission of bringing communities together. In partnership with the Chicago Park District we are proud to announce:

Midnight Circus “Open Air” 2020 Tour!

Returning to our roots, the “Open-Air” model allows us to continue to bring the circus to every corner of Chicago while keeping our audiences and performers safe. As an added bonus, ALL SHOWS IN 2020 WILL BE FREE. Parks and Dates to be announced shortly!

In order to make the circus happen beyond 2020...We Need Your Help!

The global pandemic has left Midnight Circus in the Parks financially vulnerable and our future uncertain. This year’s operating budget was cut by 85% due to COVID-19. The majority of our budget comes from ticket sales from our nine-week tour, which we can no longer count on for 2020. We also rely on funding from various grants and contributions from the city and state, which are no longer available to us.

Between now and September 1st, we seek to raise $50,000 to keep Midnight Circus in the Parks up and running beyond 2020.

Last season alone we reached 15,000 people from all over Chicago. If every person who saw our 2019 ‘Circus in the Parks’ Tour donated $3.33, or if 1000 people donated $50, we will be able to move forward with our plans for the 2020 “Open Air” Tour and beyond.

If you and your family have valued this program over the past 13 seasons, now is the time to help. Please consider giving a tax-deductible donation so we can continue our mission of Creating Community...One Circus at a Time!
